Erin is really a self-proclaimed exercise addict.
The 39-year-old from North park, California reveals on Tuesday’s episode of?the syndicated daytime series The Doctors?that she builds her very existence around gelling workout routines.
“I exercise eight?hours a day,” she says within an exclusive clip. “I never get tired, I do not get sore.”
But despite the fact that?her body can seemingly handle her excessive workouts, they don’t make her feel good.
“I’ll cancel plans, I’ll cancel appointments. It has been controlling my entire life,” she says. “I cannot stop. It’s not giving me the rush which i used to feel just doing three to four hours.”
Erin says she squeezes in early morning workouts before work, and then returns to a health club when she is accomplished for your day.
“Around 5 o’clock happens when I work out, and then I go to work, after which Sometimes out for an additional two hours,” she says.
But Erin also reveals she’s been using exercise to prevent a painful trauma she familiar with the past.
“Eight months ago I acquired a note from the girl. It triggered a memory that I had suppressed for 3 decades,” she says in the clip. “Basically from that point on I have been adding on exercise so that I can lets forget about that whole nightmare of those four?many years of life.”
Host Dr. Travis Stork commends Erin for seeking the help she needs to fight her addiction.
“Before we obtain into where we need to go from here, we have to acknowledge where we are right now,” he states. “I’m so happy you realize that you need to change, because after i saw those blood pressure level readings, there are things in medicine we call hypertensive urgency, and people blood pressure numbers [are] quite alarming.”
Gastroenterologist Dr. Jorge Rodriguez, who’s trying to treat Erin, says he was also alarmed through the results.
“In the six years that I did the show with you, Erin is the most ill person, the sickest person who we’ve had on the show in my opinion,” he states.
